Entry requirements

Applicants should be healthcare graduates or professionals with prior practical experience and responsibility for patient care. Eligible applicants include doctors, nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and other allied health professionals as well as suitably qualified complementary therapists.

All applicants should be registered with their appropriate professional regulatory body.

Fees and finance

Acupuncture Course – Tuition Fee

The course fees remain at £2,425, which includes the first year of BAWMA membership for free. Payment can be made by a £225 deposit which is due in August, followed by eight monthly instalments of £275 from September onwards.
If your Trust or employer is paying your course fees, please inform BAWMA.

Refresher Course for Ex-Members

Charged at £125 per day, with flexibility to select days according to training needs. Please contact Tutors to arrange.

Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture Course (Postgraduate only)

Weekend course fee: £250, please apply via the MEMBERS area of the BAWMA website or contact Justin Shanahan directly.
